Abu Dhabi / Dubai

Dubai is an energetic destination with a stunning skyline view, amazing shopping and grand architecture. Abu Dhabi is an incredible modern city, with stunning beaches and fun desert adventures a plenty.

We found it uncomfortable seeing signs of no public holding of hands, watching bus loads of underpaid exploited people with poor working conditions being shuttled in and out of the cities and not knowing how covered we should be at each venue. But it was a lovely place to visit for sunshine, adventure and to be blown away by how quickly they are creating these places in the desert!

We stayed in Abu Dhabi and did day trips to Dubai, which is around a one hour drive.
