Lumi Lane Photography

For as long as I can remember I have loved photography. Growing up, my favourite pass time was dressing my little sister up, staging poses, taking photos on my manual film camera and developing them in a dark room. I took the photography class as many times as possible in high school and gained work experience with local photographers. I roam around taking photos daily.

In 2019 I further studied photography, after having my light bulb moment that photography sets my soul on fire. My husband had gently suggested a career in photography over ten years, but I like to think one week of journalling unraveled it all. I’ll be taking photos forever and would love to share my passion with people in and around my home town of Geelong.

My approach to capturing a photo has changed over the years. I no longer push posed photos, preferring to capture authentic moments as they happen, playing, laughing, cuddling, tickling, twirling and having fun. A story teller at heart, romanticising small moments of joy.

Maternity, newborn, families and commercial photography is my jam.
